Harry Potter by jessasketch Harry Potter by jessasketch
Planning on something with this for Wizard World Chicago. Graphite on paper. HP copyright Rowling and Warner Bros.
Edit: My apologies!! I think I somehow managed to delete all the nice comments and faves on this piece and I'm not sure how I did it. Thank you to those of you that had commented on this drawing. :(

this is a really solid drawing, the expression and age are very apparent and distinctive.

Was there a reason to draw this piece other than that (I assume) you like the character?

I don't follow the Potter series, actually. A friend of mine and I decided to do Potter prints to sell at a comic convention, that's all. :)

wow, how well did they sell? Could you tell me the process of selling prints at Con's? I'd love to do that at the philly Con next year.

They sold okay. Didn't sell out, but that's alright.
I just thought of an image I'd like to do and drew it out, then took a disk to a local copy shop and printed out 20 or so copies. I made sure to put a copyright mark on the bottom of the print (in this case, copyright JK Rowling and Warner Bros.). Then had them on my table at the convention. That's about it.

gotcha, so then I just need to get a table and I can sell my own work and make sure the copyright is on the drawing for those who have the copyright and i am good?
